For the banner rotation on the front page, I have the following idea:

For every core component of AlekSIS, we add a short description, and a nice photograph depicting a situation where it is useful. The following table collects examples and can be transformed into the final list we want to create:

Title	Tagline	Photo story
Substitution plans	Keep updated on the day at school everywhere	Group of (older) students, with school bags, looking at a digital signage screen in a school lobby
Smart plan	Immediately find out what the next day at school will look like	A school child, probably 5th to 7th grade, with their school bag, packing for the next day, looking at the smart plan on their laptop
Absence reports	Notify the school of absences without hassle	A mother and their child, obviously fallen ill, with a absence reporting page on their mobile phone
Class registers	Keep track of personal development in classes	Teachers in a conference, looking at the statistical dashboard on a projection
