We will need to hook up K8s deployments to services running in other networks, e.g. school networks. For that, we should do something like the following:

  • Add an optional container that accepts OpenVPN config and secrets, and connects to an OpenVPN access server
  • Let that container expose freely configurable services, and proxy connections to a mapped service through the tunnel
