Create a custom menu or something to inject actions or links regarding a specific person to display on the person overview page. This could be used e.g. to link chronos timetables or alsijil person overviews

Yes and no. The idea behind both issues is probably the same, this however describes a direct thing to implement such a behavior. Also, this is about custom links in an already existing menu, while the other issue is about widgets in general.
