I have considered two implementations:

Personal inventories, i.e. each person can manage their own inventories, which are shared with others and have checkout rules (consider compatibility with #68, #69 and #70)
We have a shared inventory, to which everyone can add places, objects, etc., for which they are recorded as owner

At Teckids, we want individual members to contribute to our inventory. For example, a member might own some books, or workshop materials, or devices, that they offer other members or the organisation to use.
