Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

It should be possible to track the date of the last check.
Additionally, it would be useful to configure an interval (maybe per Category?), to enable reminders (calendar entries, yay :)) for future checks.
This should be implemented in a generic way, so other workflows required for items can be tracked as well (e.g. best before dates of groceries, expiry dates of medical items,…)
