In general, this problem is actually solved by the lines https://edugit.org/AlekSIS/official/AlekSIS-App-LDAP/-/blob/master/aleksis/apps/ldap/util/ldap_sync.py#L32-L33 but there seem to be some cases with three underscores which result in a string with two underscores.
