The rating field should default to "no opinion", not to the worst possible option, because sending a partially filled-in form would otherwise be indiscernible from a very disappointed user.

Maybe also look into using django-starfield instead.

django-starfield is - imo - missing the possibility to set a different character for unchecked/checked stars. In AlekSIS e.g. we use a filled star as selected and an outlined as unselected
